THE EPISCOPAL CHURCH IN THE PHILIPPINES

THE REPORT OF THE 7^th EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

The 7^th Executive Council submits this report to the 8^th Regular Synod of the Episcopal Church in the Philippines.  This report covers the period after the 7^th Regular Synod, specifically the triennium from May 2008 until May 2011.  This reports covers the meetings of Executive Council held on 5 June 2008; 27 November 2008; 20 February 2009; 30 July 2009; 10 December 2009; 3 March 2010; 7 July 2010; 26 November 2010; and 17 March 2011.  This report classifies the Actions of Executive Action under a a number of areas of concerns.

The regular members of the 7^th Executive Council are:  The Most. Rev. Edward P. Malecdan, Prime Bishop and chair; The Rt. Rev. Dixie C. Taclobao (EDCP), The Rt. Rev. Brent Harry W. Alawas (EDNP), The Rt. Rev. Danilo LC Bustamante (EDSP), The Rt. Rev. Renato M. Abibico (EDNL), The Rt. Rev. Joel A. Pachao (EDNCP), The Rt. Rev. Alexander A. Wandag (EDS), The Rev. Lito A. Bayao (EDSP), The Rev. Louis D. Yacuan (EDNCP), The Rev. Joel B. Loy-odan (EDS), The Rev. Leon P. Cadsap (EDCP), The Rev. Garnet G. Daowan (EDNL), The Rev. Albert Sapaen (vice Ms. Rosaria Bumas-ang) (EDNP), Ms. Mary D. Bacwaden (Synod-elected) and Mr. Robert Kuan (Synod-elected).  Ex-officio members are: Mr. Gideon G. Bustamante (SKEP), Ms. Patricia Dalmas (ECW), Ms. Ursula Daoey (SPRINT), Dr. Penelope Domogo (ECP-HEAL) and Brother Braille Reyes (BSA).

Executive Council met nine times during the triennium on the following dates: 5 June 2008; 27 November 2008; 20 February 2009; 30 July 2009; 10 December 2009; 3 March 2010; 7 July 2010; 26 November 2010; and 17 March 2011.
